Teams represent organisations (businesses or charities) who use IndieBase to process their patient data.

Teams

IndieBase is separated into Teams and Users. Each organisation (i.e. business or charity) is called a Team within IndieBase. The Team holds the patient records of the organisation. A Data Processing Agreement is in place between Medic One Systems and the organisation to protect the privacy of these patient records. Each Team can customize their configuration of IndieBase, including branding, patient record fields, access levels, checklists, documents, interventions and drugs.

Members

Users who join a Team are called Members. Only Members can join Events and create Patient Records for a Team.

Permissions

Permissions are set for each Team. A single User will potentially have different permissions for each Team they’re a member of. The potential Team Permission levels are: - Team Owner - has admin rights to everything including being able to change subscription and billing settings. Legal agreements (Terms of Service, DPA and Privacy Policy) need to be agreed by a Team Owner. - Team Admin - has admin rights to see and edit all Events, Jobs, patients and Users. They can set permission levels and customise their version of IndieBase. They can set up Events and invite Users to join those events. - Control - can see all Jobs during an event they're invited to. Once invited they can access the event management view to set up the Users and crews of an Event. They cannot see patient identifiable data in records. - Manager - can see all patient records for the Event they are invited to while the Event is live. They can force check-in records if needed. - Crew - can see the patient records only of the crew they are a part of and only while the Event is live. A user’s permission levels are likely to differ depending which Team they are working with.

Team Views

Dashboard Each Team has a running management dashboard of key performance measurements, including: - Number of jobs, patients and patients to hospital - Patients’ age and gender - Top interventions performed - Top drugs given This dashboard can be filtered to show performance over date ranges. Jobs The jobs table is a powerful datatable where administrators can sort, filter and export their patient data for further analysis. Fields can be added and removed using the ‘Show/Hide Columns’ button.

Customizing Teams

Each team can customise their version of IndieBase to make it match their requirements. Only Team Admins can see or edit these fields Settings Change Team name and edit members: - Issue invites to users for them to become Team members. - Set permissions for Team members - Remove users from being a member of your Team Record Each Team can customize their Patient Record template. You can select which panels to show, which fields to show and which data options to provide. A standard template is provided as default. At any point you can return to default by clicking on restore in the top right hand corner. Branding You can customise IndieBase to your brand colour scheme and add in your logo. This has the added benefits of making it clear to your users when they switch Team and ensuring consistent branding across your printed ePRFs. Checklists Each Team can create their own checklists for users to fill in depending on situations. There is no limit to the number of checklists you can create for your team. The users will see these in the ‘Checklist’ panel of the patient record. Drugs & Interventions You can customise the list of drugs and interventions which can be selected within your Team Patient Record template. We provide a comprehensive list to start with but this can be pared down if desired. In the case that a drug or intervention is not on the list you can create new data options. Vehicles Each team can keep a record of the vehicles (motor, aircraft, other). This can then be used by dispatch and users to identify in the Job Details panel of the patient records.
