Clearing Browser Data on Mobile

The instructions below cover the most‑used mobile browsers on Android and iOS.


ANDROID

1. Google Chrome (Android)

  1. Open Chrome.

  2. Tap the ⋮ menu (top‑right) ▸ Delete browsing data.

  3. Pick a Time range (All time).

  4. Select the data types to remove (Browsing history, Cookies & site data, Cached images & files).

  5. Tap Delete dataDelete to confirm.


2. Samsung Internet (Android )

  1. Open Samsung Internet.

  2. Tap ☰ MenuSettingsPersonal browsing dataDelete browsing data.

  3. Tick the items to clear (Browsing history, Cookies & site data, Cached images & files, Form data).

  4. Tap Delete data, then Delete to finish.


3. Mozilla Firefox (Android)

  1. Open Firefox.

  2. Tap ⋮ MenuHistory.

  3. Tap Clear browsing history (trash‑can icon), or long‑press individual entries to delete just those pages.

  4. Confirm with Delete.

(Alternative: Settings ▸ Delete browsing data ▸ choose data types ▸ Delete browsing data.)


iOS

4. Safari (iOS)

A. Clear history + cookies + cache

  1. Settings app ▸ SafariClear History & Website Data.

  2. Tap Clear History & Data

B. Clear site data only

  1. SettingsSafariAdvancedWebsite Data.

  2. Tap Remove All Website DataRemove Now.


5. Google Chrome (iOS)

  1. Open Chrome.

  2. Tap ⋮ MenuDelete Browsing Data.

  3. Choose a Time Range and select the data categories to clear (Browsing history, Cookies, Cached images & files, etc.).

  4. Tap Delete Browsing DataDelete.


6. Microsoft Edge (iOS 17 / iPadOS 17)

  1. Open Edge.

  2. Tap ⋯ MenuSettingsPrivacyClear browsing data.

  3. Select the types of data to erase and tap Clear.
