Jobs and Patient Records

Last updated on May 22, 2025

A Job is a deployment of medical crew(s) to a potential patient or patients. It has its own associated data including the crew involved, time stamps and location. A single Job can result in any number of patient records, including none in which case it becomes a stand down. Jobs that are stand downs do not count for your IndieBase patient record quotas regarding subscriptions.

For each person requiring care a Patient Record will need to be created. Sometimes there will be no Patient Records required (e.g. refused care) while other times you may have multiple patients per Job (e.g. a group incident).

Through the job model, organisations are able to count deployments that result in a patient, patients and their respective stand down rates.
